Windows 10 is Microsoft's newest operating system, released on July 29, 2015.
Windows 10 ISO Download – The brand new OS combines the very best pieces of old and new Windows features into a cohesive bundle whilst adjusting nearly all the missteps of all Windows 8. The update process is mostly free and painless for many Windows 8 and 7 consumers. The Windows 10 ISO will only be visible on device that is not running Windows related OS, for example, on a Mac, Android or other OS device. Or Android phone to visit to the same page and you shall see a different download page with the heading that says Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO file) similar to the screenshot below. If you are installing Windows 10 on a PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista, or if you need to create installation media to install Windows 10 on a different PC, see Using the tool to create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) to install Windows 10 on a different PC section below. The software giant has already announced that Windows 10 is a free upgrade for existing Windows 7 as well as Windows 8.1 users who upgrade to Windows 10 within the first year of the RTM release of Windows 10. The free upgrade is not available for Enterprise edition though. Windows 10 ships with a host of new features and enhancements.
Unlike with previous versions of Windows, a legitimate copy of Windows 10 is available for download directly from Microsoft in ISO format.
Not only that, but the tool Microsoft provides for downloading Windows 10 lets you upgrade the computer you're on to Windows 10, prepare a flash drive with Windows 10 install files, or burn the Windows 10 setup files to a DVD disc.
Where Can I Download Windows 10?
There's only one completely legal and legitimate way to download Windows 10, and that's via Microsoft's official Windows 10 download page:
- Select Download tool now.
- Open MediaCreationTool<version>.exe when it's finished downloading.
The Media Creation Tool is very small, so it takes only a few seconds to download. However, you haven't downloaded Windows 10 just yet.
The Windows 10 installation wizard is pretty self-explanatory, so you should have no trouble deciding what to do next, but here's more help if you need it:
Download a Windows 10 ISO Image
You'll probably see a Getting a few things ready message when you first open the Windows 10 Setup program. When that screen clears, follow these steps in order:
- Read through the license terms and then accept them with the Accept Oovoo app download for pc. button.
- Choose Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC and then select Next.
- Choose the Language, Edition, and Architecture you want the ISO image for.If you're going to be using Windows 10 on the same computer that's running Windows 10 Setup, you can use the default options that pertain to that specific computer. Otherwise, uncheck Use the recommended options for this PC, and then edit those options yourself. For most users, Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro is the way to go for the Edition. The N editions are designed for some special European economic zones. For Architecture, choosing Both is probably the smartest way to go so that you can install Windows 10 on both a 32-bit or a 64-bit computer.
- Choose ISO file on the Choose which media to use screen, followed by Next.
- Decide where to have the Windows 10 ISO image stored and then select Save to immediately start the download.
Once downloaded, you'll have a legal and full version of Windows 10 in ISO format. You can then burn that ISO image to a disc to install later or use it directly with your virtual machine software if you're going that route.
You could also burn that ISO image to a USB device, but doing that using the software's built-in tool (below) will be easier.
The free upgrade to Windows 10 (from Windows 8 or Windows 7) expired on July 29, 2016, and the free Windows 10 upgrade offer extension for users of assistive technologies ended December 31, 2017. So, you'll need to have a valid product key to install Windows 10.
Buying Windows 10 is the only way to get a valid product key. Windows 10 Pro is available directly from Microsoft but Amazon sells copies, too. Windows 10 Home is the same deal: direct from Microsoft or via Amazon are best.
Download Windows 10 to a Flash Drive
If you'd rather skip the ISO part of the Windows 10 download and get those Windows 10 installation bits right onto a flash drive, that's easy to do with Microsoft's tool as well.
- Follow the directions above for the ISO image up to the Choose which media to use the screen, and this time, choose USB flash drive, followed by Next.
- Choose a connected flash drive (that has more than 4 GB of storage) from the list on the next screen and then tap or click Next.Nicehash for mac. If there isn't a device listed, attach a flash drive and select Refresh drive list.Be sure to select the correct flash drive if you have multiples plugged in. Installing Windows 10 on the removable drive will erase all the existing files on that device.
- Wait while the download is completed and then follow the rest of the instructions.

Don't Download Windows 10 From Another Website
Microsoft offers such an easy to use and legitimate source for Windows 10, so please don't download it elsewhere.
Yes, it might be tempting to download a hacked, 'free' version of Windows 10 that advertises no need for a product key, but with the joy of using a Windows 10 download like that comes the very real risk of getting something you weren't expecting.
Technically, you could probably find a clean, original copy of the Window 10 ISO from another website, such as a torrent site. However, even then, you still need a valid product key in order to use the operating system, so risking the download anywhere but directly from Microsoft probably isn't worth it.
One exception is the HeiDoc.net Windows ISO Downloader tool, which lets you get the official Windows 10 ISO download from Microsoft. The program doesn't come from Microsoft but it does grab the ISO directly from Microsoft's website (software-download.microsoft.com), so unlike a torrent site, it's most likely safe and can be a good alternative if Microsoft's tool (above) didn't work for you.
The HeiDoc.net method can also be helpful if you're interested in downloading an older version of Windows 10, such as a 2016 or 2017 version. You can pick any edition and language that you want.
Windows 10 Technical Preview
Prior to Windows 10's public release, it was available as a Technical Preview, which was completely free and didn't require that you own a previous version of Windows.
Biodata pemeran film love 020 movie. The Windows 10 Technical Preview program is over, meaning that you'll need to have a previous version of Windows already to get it for free, or you'll need to buy a new copy.
All Windows 10 Technical Preview installations used the product key of NKJFK-GPHP7-G8C3J-P6JXR-HQRJR, but this key is now blocked and will not be able to be used to activate Windows 10.
One of the selling points of a Mac these days is the ability to run Windows software on it, via virtualization or Apple’s own Boot Camp. Running Windows lets you play PC games that haven’t been ported to the Mac, or stay completely compatible with your documents from a PC-centric workplace.
Virtualization software like Parallels or VMWare Fusion (two of the best apps to run Windows software on your Mac without partitioning your hard drive for Boot Camp) isn’t free, though these applications do allow you to try before you buy. Windows 8.1, the current version of Microsoft’s operating system, will run you about $120 for a plain-jane version.
You can run the next-gen OS from Microsoft (Windows 10) on your Mac using virtualization for free, however. We took a quick run at doing just that, as originally sussed out by the fantastic folks over at iMore.

Grab that virtual box
We’re going to use a free, open source bit of emulation software called VirtualBox, from Oracle. It’s pretty robust and works almost as well as the more costly solutions like Parallels or VMWare Fusion, so you can get a taste of things without having to bust out the credit card.
Windows 10 Download
Head on over to the VirtualBox webpage, and click on the Download link over to the left. You’ll want to choose the latest VirtualBox version (4.3.20 as of this writing) for OS X hosts x86/amd64. Once downloaded, you can launch and install the app, which will get you ready to roll with Windows 10.
Get Windows 10 for free
To get a free, legal copy of Windows 10 Technical Preview, you’ll need to sign up with your Microsoft account (or create one in the process) for the Windows Insider Program. The process takes a couple of minutes, and it’s free as well.
Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be able to download an ISO file that acts just like an inserted install disk. You’ll want to download the 64 bit version of file in the language you want Windows to run in. The instructions at the Technical Preview page tell you to move the file to a USB drive and then install from there, but you don’t need to–I installed it just fine from the file on my Mac’s hard drive.
Now you’ll want to launch VirtualBox. Click on the blue New star button at the top, and click through the default settings. You’ll first give the newly created virtual environment a name and choose the Windows Type and then Windows 8.1 (64 bit) from the two drop-down menus. Name it something clever, like “Windows 10” if you like.
Install the virtual disk on the virtual hard drive
Next you’ll need to choose the size of your virtual hard drive. I left this at the default 2 GB setting, but you can increase it by moving the little slider to the right. Avoid a size that hits in the yellow or red zone, or you may have issues with running both OS X and Windows at the same time.
Allow VirtualBox to create a virtual hard drive using the default setting. Simply click on Create, then let it make a VirtualBox Disk Image, or VDI, on the next screen. I let it create a dynamically allocated hard drive, since that was the default option, as well. Give your new hard drive image a name (VirtualBox will choose the name you gave the environment in the first place – it’s ok to let this stand), and then find a size that fits well on your hard drive. I left it at the default 25 GB setting, and then clicked on Create.
You’ll now have a virtual environment to install Windows onto. Click the green Start arrow, and then click on the little folder icon to choose the ISO you downloaded from Microsoft above. You’ll have an option to Capture your mouse within the environment, and then you’ll find out that your host OS (OS X) allows for mouse pointer integration. Just click on the Continue buttons here.

Windows 7 For Mac Free
After you click Next on the Windows Setup window, you’ll need to click Install Now and then accept the license terms. If you didn’t move the ISO to a USB drive, choose the second option when asked what kind of installation you want: Custom Install. Click Next when you see the Disk 0 Unallocated Space screen, and then click through the rest of the Windows installation prompts.
As soon as all the Windows installation fooferah finishes up, you’ll be running Windows 10 on your Mac. You can hit Command-F to go full screen and trick anyone into thinking you’re running a Windows machine (except your Macbook looks way better than most PCs). You can now install Steam or other PC games, or just mess around with the new OS. Enjoy!
